We need everyone to start purchasing items for our summer boxes for our families.  We will be feeding our children and their families for approximately 68 days during the Summer.  We are in need of large quantities of items for our boxes.  In this case, we are asking for family sized boxes/packs, not inidividual sized boxes/packs.
  
 

   Our letter to the community:

 While childhood hunger may seem like an overwhelming problem, it is a problem that can be fixed. The Pavilion Church Backpack Program is a campaign to re-write the life stories of children here in our community.

This program is an opportunity to make an impact by taking over the burden of food requirements during these difficult economic times. Our support will provide each child involved, the opportunity to improve the quality of life through nutrition and increase the possibility of improved health and learning.  

We will work with residents, local businesses and school counselors to feed elementary school children in our community from Friday to Monday throughout the year. We are reaching towards a goal of connecting with as many children as possible. As caring people like you open their hearts and give towards this cause, we can reach that goal and literally see a generation of children receive the help and hope they need. Your kindness will give them a chance to attend school and grow in mind, body and soul.

As God's people, together we can make the difference. These children will see the love of God in word and in deed, because His word will be demonstrated.
