We at The Pavilion  seek to tear down those walls that would make us like any other religious institution,
and focus on becoming passionate followers of Jesus Christ. We endeavor to make a difference in our community.

Over two thousand years ago, Jesus came to live among us with a call to come and follow Him. His final instructions were to go into the world and make disciples.

Our purpose is to teach people wherever they are in life; whether you are seeking the first connection, or looking to deepen your relationship with God, we would love to be a part of your journey.

We are unique individuals, created by God for the purpose of serving Him. It is our plan that through service, each of our unique gifts will show God's love and glory to others. As a body of Christ, our goal is to be as diverse in our outreach as we are in our family.

We believe The Pavilion Church is ordained by God to be a place for members to serve the needs of others, and to reach out to the community, sharing God's love through simple acts of kindness.

We will share the Good News as simply as it was given to us, using the message Jesus laid out for us; a message overflowing with Faith, Hope and Love; where Faith is the foundation of God's Message, Hope is the focus, and Love is the action taken. We are passionate in our calling, simple in our faith, and through us, God is working to change the world.
Mark 1:17, Matthew 4:19, Matthew 28:16-20, 1Corinthians 13:13

              ~We Believe~

1 - God
God created the Earth and everything in it. God is eternal and is in control of everything. God loves us and wants to spend eternity with us.
Gen 1: 1 Matt 18 : 14 John 1: 1

2 - Jesus
Christ
Jesus Christ is the son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, suffered and died on a Cross for our sins. He arose from the dead three days later and ascended to heaven and sits at the right hand of God.
Matt 1: 23, 27: 1-2, 35, 28: 2-7 Mark 15: 1-25, 37, 16: 6-8, 19 Luke 22: 63-64, 23: 1-2, 33, 24: 6, 51 John 18: 28-29, 19: 18 Phil 2: 6

3 - Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God living within us given as a gift to us upon the moment of salvation. The Holy Spirit provides understanding and guidance in our lives. We should seek to live in accordance with the Holy Spirit throughout our lives.
John 3: 5-6, 16: 7-13, 1 Cor 2: 12, 3: 16 2 Cor 3: 17-18 Acts 1: 8 Eph 1:
13, 4: 1-6 Gal 5: 25

4 -
Bible
The scriptures in the Bible are God's instructions, perfectly written for us. We believe that it is a living book and that we should turn to it for guidance and training as God's children. The Bible was written by prophets, not of their own understanding, but by God's command.
2 Tim 3: 16 2 Pet 1: 20-21 Psalm 119: 105

5 - Salvation
It is God's free gift to us; we can never earn it, and we will never deserve it. He offers it to us when we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior. Then we are baptized into his death and our previous selves are buried with Him. Just as Christ was raised from the dead through the Glory of God, we too will be born again to a new life.
Matt 1: 20-21 John 14: 6 Acts 2: 38 Eph 2: 8-10
Romans 5: 12, 6: 3-6, 23

6 - Baptism
Baptism is a public confirmation of our commitment and relationship with God. Our method here at The Pavilion is submersion.
Matt 3: 11, 28: 19 Mark 1: 4

7 - Infant Dedication / Baptism
Infant dedication is solely for the purpose to announce the family's commitment to raise the child in a Christian home that is dedicated to God and His church.

8 - Communion
We believe that communion is served with the knowledge that whenever you eat this bread and drink from this cup, you are proclaiming the Lord's death until He returns. This is done in remembrance to symbolize the blood that was shed for us and His body that suffered for us.
Matt 26: 26-29 Mark 14: 22-25 Luke 22: 17-22
1Cor 11: 23-26

9 -
Eternity
We believe that our eternal life begins at our spiritual rebirth. Upon our human death, we will enter the kingdom of God where we will spend eternity worshiping Him.
John 3: 16, 5: 24 Rom 6: 23

10 - Heaven and Hell
We believe that heaven and hell are our only two options at death. If you have been reborn through the acceptance of Jesus, you will ascend to heaven. We consider hell to be an eternity enduring the separation of God and His creations.
John 14: 1 - 4 Rev 7: 15 - 17 2 Thes 1: 8 - 9 Rev 20: 15
